Grillstream BBQ School
Grillstream has launched a BBQ School for trade customers and retailers at selected locations across the UK.
The school teaches attendees all the functionality and USP’s of a Grillstream barbecue, and how to cook using the hybrid system (gas, charcoal – or both!).
The school is headed up by pitmaster, Jack Rowbottom, from Jack’s Meat Shack, offering a five-course culinary menu that includes: chicken wings, smash tacos, pork loins, sirloin or ribeye, and grilled pineapple in a mint, sugar and vanilla dressing.
Students are taught the basics of food hygiene, direct and indirect cooking, heat management, selecting rubs and sauces, cooking temperatures for meats, and most importantly, how to cook food to perfection!
Senior Marketing Manager, Mark Milligan, said: “At some of our first schools we had attendees who had never cooked on a BBQ before. They left feeling empowered after cooking some amazing dishes, confident that they have the knowledge to pass on new skills and better explain the Grillstream USP’s to consumers”.
